The Sports Bar

The KGV Sports Bar is open to the public - you do not need to be a member to enjoy our facilities!

The KGV Sports Bar is located on the first floor of the Clubhouse with a balcony providing a fabulous view over the KGV cricket pitch. We offer coverage of all major sporting events on the 4 screens around the bar area. The bar space is also equipped with 2 pool tables, 2 dartboards and jukebox.

We are a dog friendly space but kindly request that dogs are kept on leads. Children (under 18’s) are permitted in the bar area until 9.30pm but must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult.

Boosh! Toasties are now available in the Sports Bar Friday, Saturday and Sunday (whilst stocks last).

The KGV regularly provide meat draws, live music and plays host to Karaoke, Quiz and Bingo nights which everyone is welcome to attend.

Hire the Sports Bar!

The Sports Bar is also available for charity fundraising evenings. We offer FREE HIRE on Thursday and Saturday evenings. We can accommodate up to 14 teams of 6 people (84 people). Although we cannot offer exclusivity of the bar space, these evenings do tend to be quieter.

We are also happy to consider parties in the bar on a Saturday evening (excluding 18th’s + 21st’s) which may be subject to a small hire charge.

Day time events such as wakes or social gatherings will also be considered.
